SAFE, SECURE AND HUMANE INCARCERATION

Admission into a correctional institution follows a professional, structured and humane process. Every inmate is received safely, assessed thoroughly and provided with the essential care needed as they begin their correctional journey.

Matthew 25:36
"I was in prison and you came to visit me."

BOOTH 2

TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH REHABILITATION

Rehabilitation is the heart of modern corrections. Every programme is designed to help inmates develop knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that prepare them to return to society as responsible, productive and law-abiding citizens.

2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new reation; the old has gone, the new has come."

BOOTH 3

RESTORING LIVES, REBUILDING COMMUNITIES

Reintegration is not the responsibility of Correctional Services alone. Families, churches, employers, community organisations and every citizen have a role in giving rehabilitated individuals the opportunity to build productive, law-abiding

Hebrews 13:3
"Remember those who are in prison as though in prison with them."

BOOTH 4

POSITIVE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The journey does not end at the prison gate. Successful reintegration requires the support of families, churches, employers, communities and strategic partners working together to help former inmates rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society.

Isaiah 61:1
"He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound."

FROM GALLOWS TO AIRWAVES

Located at the infamous gallows of Chikurubi Maximum Prison — a place that once broadcast death

The Bridge FM 103.4 now broadcasts a message of hope. As Africa’s first prison radio station, we operate under a Community of Interest licence on 103.4 FM with a 40km reach. Our mission is to bridge the gap between correctional institutions and society by promoting awareness, rehabilitation and successful reintegration.

Isaiah 43:18-19
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I Will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert".

A Powerful Transformation Story.

In 2024, Zimbabwe took a historic step by abolishing the death penalty, closing a solemn chapter in its justice system.

A New Chapter

At Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison, once home to the gallows, this national milestone has been given physical and symbolic meaning. A section of the site is preserved as a heritage and reflection space, honoring history with dignity.
